- A narrative approach - a strong lyrical content
- Listen to song without the music video - No bias opinion
- Try not to use popular songs
- Play to strengths on what you can and can't do ( Don't do summer song when it's winter )
- You need to think about how lip syncing matches up to the voice of the singer

Different type of album covers
One of the tasks we were given was that we needed to explore different kinds of album covers. From this, me and my friends got creative and decided to pose in front of a wall to replicate the different genres. After taking the photos, we put them into Photoshop and changed the colour correction on various ones to give them a different atmosphere.

Music Videos and Genre
The pop cover displays the artist and a white, handwritten font
The indie record looks as if it's quite eccentric. The band members are not displayed and normally have artwork on them.
the house record is simplistic and has drawn, distorted faces.
Is Genre a problem?
It could mean that artists have to behave and look the same way and means that changing their identity risks loosing their audience.
It can be said either the audience or the music industry controls what makes a genre and how it starts.

The Trapstep genre.
Some Trapstep seems to take original songs and remix them, it is a mixture of both trap music and Dubstep.
Originally,Trap music was a sub-genre from the 1990's in the USA. Typically, Trap is bleak and gritty and varies from different artists. Typical lyrics in Trap music include poverty, violence and living in urban areas.
Trap music employs a heavy use of multi-layered hard-lined and melodicsynthesizers; crisp, grimy, and rhythmic snares; deep 808 kick drums; double-time, triple-time and similarly divided hi-hats; and a cinematic and symphonic utilization of string, brass, woodwind, and keyboard instruments creating an overall dark, harsh, grim, and bleak atmosphere for the listener. The tempo of a typical trap beat is around 140 BPM
'Trap' refers to the place drug dealers give away their drugs, it is commonly used now as before, rappers referred to the places as the 'trap'
